Personalised Memory Boxes

Just a few images of the type of orders we've been recieving in the run up to christmas. Here is an example of two gorgeous memory/keepsake boxes for a little girl and boy that we made this morning. The boxes are made from a sturdy cardboard, covered in lovely textured stucco white paper and embellished with machine embroidered applique, matching ribbon and personalised.
Size of the boxes are 22 x 22 cm square and come with a top lid and base.

This year we introduced a personalised and corporate Christmas card design service which has proved to be over whelming to say the least. So far, we've taken orders from the likes of solicitors, garden centres, letting agents and hairdressers! Its been a bit of a learning curve trying to adjust companies logos and signatures to our cards, but we got there in the end. A touch of Fez - Eid Cards

We have just launched a new range of Eid Cards - (6 in total) to add to our increasingly expanding collection of eid greeting cards. The style is inspired by moroccan furnishings and patterns.
Each card is adorned with crystals that have been individually hand applied for that extra sparkle.
Cards all come in a square fomat of 150 mm square, complimented with a pearlescent ivory envelope and individually cello wrapped.

New Eid Cards

I thought i'd give you all a quick update as to whats been happening in the studio this month. Other than finishing off a couple of wedding orders, i've been super busy organising and booking my next trade show (which I've finally done....horaaaay!), sourcing different boards and printers for our new spring season ranges, also working on some bespoke Eid Cards designs for one of our very good wholesale customers (pictured above).
The range is very much based on Morrocon tiles (some of which I've been collecting since my first trip to Marrakech), others I've photographed whilst I was out there last spring. Overall I designed a range of 8 cards and I'll be adding more to this collection later on next year when it will be available to all.

New Walima Cards

A few months ago, I was approached by a lovely couple to design their wedding day staionary. Their brief was short and simple. 'luxurious & sophisticated' is what they asked for. So after showing them a few design options, this is what I came up with.
Smooth electric blue velvet fabric bound on a thick board with heavily embossed silver glitter accross the centre.

New Designs

We're getting ready for the spring already in the studio and here is a sneaky peak of one of our designs for spring 2012. There are 18 designs in total, (still haven't decided on a name for the range) but plenty of time for that! All cards are printed on a beautiful soft textured linen board and embellished with the highest quality crystal gems.

Eid Cards

Today's choice of eid card design is based on autumnnal colours. We will be seeing alot more of these colour tones everywhere in the next few weeks as shades of yellow, red and orange leaves drape the ground.
This card is from the 'crystal brights' collection and adorned with red crystals.

I am posting 3 Eid Card designs from the 'Crystal Brights' collection today. These designs have all been very popular for 2011,however I have to say that our bestseller has most definitely been the flower image. (image 1).
All cards are adorned with crystals, sized 150 x 150 and come with an ivory pearlescent envelope.

Today's eid card is a personal favourite of mine, taken from the 'Glitzy Felt' range of eid greetings.
This range, which was launched last summer has become our fastest selling eid card range. For those of you who have been reading my posts regularly will know that due to last years success,this year we added new fonts and colours to this glittery range and the response has been absolutely phenomenal.
I've already got tons of new ideas in my head, and most definitely we'll be adding new designs to this range next year. Watch this space!!

Today's eid card caption reads; 'to my husband on Eid, which is part of our new relations eid card collection. It is extremely difficult to find specific relation eid cards in the market. and as a greeting card publisher, we are constantly reminded of the lack of them. With this in mind we have recently designed and created a range of gorgeous eid cards with captions for mother, father, parents, sister, brother, husband, wife and dear friend.

Today is day 3 of my Eid Card extravaganza and I am sharing with you a very simple design with an eye catching arabic font in bold. The card reads 'Eid Mubarak' in arabic with a simple black and red star border on either side.
The card is in square format, measures 150 x 150 mm and comes cello wrapped.

Today is day 2 of my Eid Card showcase. Here we have a very traditional paisley design.
The good old paisley is in actual fact of Persian origin and is sometimes known as "Persian pickles" by American traditionalists!

An eid card design a day.....

Since there are only 10 days remaining till Eid ul Fitr, I have decided to do 'an eid card a day' blog for the next 10 days to showcase some of our eid card designs that may not have been featured in our catalogues or website.
Apologies in advance for those of you who follow my blog and find yourselves bombarded with my eid cards on your dashboard!!
Well, as today is my first entry, how about a double bill? These two are part of a collection that I designed for a prestigious art gallery in the middle east. Hope you like them.

Today I am posting images of our latest Eid Card collection 'Crystal Brights'.
As mentioned previously, I took these photos down in the New Forest last month on a very bright and sunny morning.
These cards have been very popular with retailers and now with just under 3 weeks left for Eid ul Fitr, repeat orders have started to come in.

All through out the month of Ramadan, I shall be showcasing some of our bestselling Eid Cards on this blog. Today we start with one of my personal favorites from the 'Crystal Brights' collection of Eid Cards.
Here I have designed a geometric repeat pattern in shades of purple adorned with swarowski crystals in the centre.There are 5 further geometric design Eid Cards in this range in various colour pallettes. Cards are sized 150 cm square, complimented with a pearlescent envelope and come individually cello wrapped. Caption on the card front reads, Eid Muabarak .

This year we have tweaked and modified our bestselling 'festive glitz' collection of Eid Cards by changing some of the fonts aswell as the back cover. After many comments and constructive customer feedback, we decided that white backing board would be the best option in terms of finish and definitely enhances the overall eid card design. Eid Mubarak Cards

Today I'm posting further designs from the 'Crystal Brights' collection of Eid Mubarak cards. I took this picture down south last week in the beautiful new forest at sunset.
As mentioned in my previous post, the range consists of 10 bright designs, all adorned with sworovski crystals. All card measure 155 cm sq and come individually cello wrapped.

Just Pink

A couple of months ago we were asked by a very lovely retailer to design and produce a complete range of 'pink' milstone cards, photo albums and keepsake boxes for their new 'just pink' online gift shop.
Apparently they were so well recieved that they completely sold out of there 21', 30' and 40' age cards in the first week of stocking them! They have are now placed their second order and we have also agreed to design a printed version of the sequin designs.

Father's Day Cards & Gifts

With Father's Day rapidly approaching (19th of June), I thought I'd share with you some of our best selling cards that I designed earlier on in the year for that special man in your life!
Silver or sky blue swarowski crystals are adorned on all cards in this range.
Cards are printed on 270gsm textured natural FSC accredited linen board and come with complimentry matching envelopes.

Bank Hoilday

I hope everyone had a relaxing bank holiday weekend. Well as you may well know, I have been away for the past 5 weeks and although I've been back nearly 2 weeks now, I still had not quite got into 'work mode' until the bank holiday weekend hit me with an astounding amount of orders that I was not expecting!
Most of them are personnalised orders which I shall be working on over the two next weeks, however I managed to pick and pack the above orders which are now ready for the post office.
