Today I am posting some father's day designs that I launched at the Spring Fair International earlier in the year.We've been busy gluing, packing and dispatching orders for these cards the past few weeks.

Leibster award

Last week I found out I was given a Liebster award by the lovely cardandgiftblog. Thank you Charlotte, I'm chuffed to bits and so honored! This is an  award that goes to bloggers with up and coming small blogs, and less than 200 followers.  Now in the spirit of this award it is my turn to do the following:

Tartan Designs

At the Spring Fair last month we were approached by a company in Scotland to design a range of bespoke tartan designed greeting cards for the tourist market in Scotland.
Above are the results of my creations. I have designed 12 everyday cards in total and will be adding sheep, bagpipes and highland cows to this range very soon.
A brochure with the above designs and 6 new designs will be ready to order from the office very shortly.

Spring Summer Brochure 2012

Our new 2012 brochure has arrived from the printers and it's packed with exciting new greeting card ranges for spring/summer.
'Georgie Porgie' (pictured above) was launched at the Spring Fair last month. The range which has 20 everyday and occasion cards received a very warm interest at the show.
'Crystal Hue' another everyday range consists of 24 everyday designs. Both theses ranges measure 150 mm square and come in packs of six. If you are interested in a brochure then please call the office on 07734 156200 and we will be happy to pop one in the post for you.

Personalised Valentines Cards

Although valentines day was last week (I was on a weeks break, so found it difficult to blog), I thought I'd post these images of a bespoke valentines card we designed for our personalised valentines range. The cards were very well received therefore I will be creating more larger format cards for fathers Day, weddings, anniversaries and christmas.

Thank you all for visiting us at Spring Fair International. Our new printed greetings card ranges 'georgie porgie' and 'crystal hue' went down really well. Lots of orders as well as commission offers. I've already managed to draw 6 more designs for the 'georgie porgie' range, after quite a few comments from customers wanting age specific cards.As always, it was really nice to meet everybody. We took some good orders, lots of interesting offers, which certainly made the whole show worth while. And great to catch up with all our industry chums!

New Designs For Spring Fair

This time next week, we will be exhibiting at Spring Fair International, with all our beautiful card ranges up on display ....well hopefully! We here at the office, with the help of our dedicated printers, have been working flat out for the past month now. With countless trips to the printers and paper merchants, we have finally got all of our collections ready for the show. The process involved with getting all the new ranges together has been exhausting and painstaking. But the end result has been worth the wait. All the cards look great and I'm really pleased with them. I really hope they receive a warm reception at the show too.
I will be spending the rest of the afternoon prepping and painting my stand boards. I also picked up an old sewing machine table from a junk shop last week (which I thought would make an ideal display with all the products on!) but I still haven't decided whether to paint it or leave it in its original glory!

Georgie Porgie

‘Georgie Porgie’ is coming to a town near you!! This exciting new collection of fun greeting cards will be launched at Spring Fair International next month, initially offering 20 cards covering all major occasions and open birthdays.

There is less than a month left for Spring Fair International and we at the Sabah Designs studios have definitely got our work cut out! We will be exhibiting in the new greetings hall 4 at the NEC next month at Stand no: FF65.
As mentioned previously, we have 3 new spring/summer ranges that are almost complete however still in need of a few tweaks here and there!
Above is an image from the Georgie Porgie collection, which is an everyday collection and consists of 20 eye catching hand drawn images. All cards from the above range are in a 150mm format.

Personalised Memory Boxes

Just a few images of the type of orders we've been recieving in the run up to christmas. Here is an example of two gorgeous memory/keepsake boxes for a little girl and boy that we made this morning. The boxes are made from a sturdy cardboard, covered in lovely textured stucco white paper and embellished with machine embroidered applique, matching ribbon and personalised.
Size of the boxes are 22 x 22 cm square and come with a top lid and base.

Personalised Cards

This year we introduced a personalised and corporate Christmas card design service which has proved to be over whelming to say the least. So far, we've taken orders from the likes of solicitors, garden centres, letting agents and hairdressers! Its been a bit of a learning curve trying to adjust companies logos and signatures to our cards, but we got there in the end. A big selection of personalised Christmas cards are on our NOTHS shop which is hotting up by the day. Above are some of the images that we have created and personalised for our lovely customers.

A touch of Fez - Eid Cards

We have just launched a new range of Eid Cards - (6 in total) to add to our increasingly expanding collection of eid greeting cards. The style is inspired by moroccan furnishings and patterns.
Each card is adorned with crystals that have been individually hand applied for that extra sparkle.
Cards all come in a square fomat of 150 mm square, complimented with a pearlescent ivory envelope and individually cello wrapped.

New Eid Cards

I thought i'd give you all a quick update as to whats been happening in the studio this month. Other than finishing off a couple of wedding orders, i've been super busy organising and booking my next trade show (which I've finally done....horaaaay!), sourcing different boards and printers for our new spring season ranges, also working on some bespoke Eid Cards designs for one of our very good wholesale customers (pictured above).
The range is very much based on Morrocon tiles (some of which I've been collecting since my first trip to Marrakech), others I've photographed whilst I was out there last spring. Overall I designed a range of 8 cards and I'll be adding more to this collection later on next year when it will be available to all.

New Walima Cards

A few months ago, I was approached by a lovely couple to design their wedding day staionary. Their brief was short and simple. 'luxurious & sophisticated' is what they asked for. So after showing them a few design options, this is what I came up with.
Smooth electric blue velvet fabric bound on a thick board with heavily embossed silver glitter accross the centre.

New Designs

We're getting ready for the spring already in the studio and here is a sneaky peak of one of our designs for spring 2012. There are 18 designs in total, (still haven't decided on a name for the range) but plenty of time for that! All cards are printed on a beautiful soft textured linen board and embellished with the highest quality crystal gems.

Eid Greetings

Eid Cards

Today's choice of eid card design is based on autumnnal colours. We will be seeing alot more of these colour tones everywhere in the next few weeks as shades of yellow, red and orange leaves drape the ground.
This card is from the 'crystal brights' collection and adorned with red crystals.
